El Valle de Antón – Full day

THE TOUR

The adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel. Via a scenic drive through the Pan-American Highway and winding mountain roads we will stop at a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the valley.

We will start at El Chorro Macho, where a short hike leads to this beautiful 35-meter waterfall, where you can enjoy the lush scenery or take a swim. Optional here is the Canopy zip-lining, soar over waterfalls and lush forests for an adrenaline-pumping experience.

Afterwards we will visit the famous El Valle Artisan Market, where you can shop for handmade crafts, indigenous Embera and Guna textiles, and fresh tropical fruits. Try traditional Panamanian snacks like “empanadas” or “chicheme” (a sweet corn-based drink).

Now we will be ready for a traditional Panamanian lunch with options like grilled chicken, fresh fish, plantains, and “sancocho” (chicken soup). Vegetarian and vegan options
available upon request. After lunch we will start the moderate hike that offers breathtaking views of the valley (1,5 – 2 hour roundtrip) and where we van see “La India Dormida”. If we still are with energy you can ride through secenic trails and farmlands on the back of a
horse. Late afternoon we will departure El Valle and on our way back to Panamá City, we will stop at a scenic viewpoint for some more photos and we will drop you off by evening.
