Private Bio Tour

THE TOUR

This tour offers an immersive experience in Panama’s rich natural and cultural heritage. We begin with a guided hike through Metropolitan Natural Park, the only tropical forest within a Latin American capital city, spanning over 232 hectares of diverse ecosystems. Next, visit the striking BioMuseo, a world-class museum designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. Here, interactive exhibits tell the fascinating story of how the formation of the Isthmus of Panama reshaped the planet’s biodiversity. Our feet come to a rest in a local restaurant for lunch. After a lunch break we continue to Punta Culebra Nature Center, a Smithsonian research facility at the entrance of the Panama Canal. This open-air center is dedicated to science, discovery, and conservation, featuring an aquarium, starfish pools, and a butterfly garden—plus, plenty of sloths lounging in the trees! Enjoy a scenic drive along the Amador Causeway before returning to your hotel, taking in breathtaking views of the Panama City skyline and the Pacific Ocean.
