CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY | BAYVIEW ASSIST TOURS
WHEN A REFUND IS APPLICABLE
A refund will be issued in the follwing cases:
- Cancellation made up to 72 hours before the tour department time: a full refund of the down payment or the amount paid is guaranteed.
- Tour cancellation by BayView Assist before departure from Panama City, due to force majeure (for example closures ordered by the competent authorities because of advers weather conditions): the client is entiteld to a full refund or, alternatively, may choose to reschedule the tour for another date.
WHEN A REFUND IS NOT APPLICABLE:
A refund will NOT be issued in the follwing cases:
- Cancellation made within 72 hours of the tour departure time: a 100% cancellation fee applies. The down payment is non-refundable.
- Bookings made within 72 hours prior to the tour departure: these are non-refundable in case of cancellation.
- Early departure from the tour decided by the client.
- Unfavorable wather conditions: tours operate in rain or sunshie, as long as the competent authorities say it is safe. We strctly follow their decisions; therefore, no refunds or rescheduling are possible due to weather dissatisfactions.
- NO SHOW: client who choose not to participate in a purchased tour or where not present at the agreed time and meeting point who miss the departure. In this case the deposit will be retained to cover the transportation and other costs made for the participation of the tour and a new booking will be required.
- Incorrect date entered by client at the time of the booking, resulting in a no-show: the booking will no be refunded nor rescheduled. A new booking will be required.
For any modification of the tour, it is mandatory to contact ONLY the BayView Assist staff through: whatsapp +507 6605 1372 or email info@bayviewassist.com. We will not be responsible for changes requested directly to our guides or local staff within the tours.
OTHER SPECIAL CASES:
Once on the tour, if for safety reasons it is not possible to carry out the package included in the tour, or if a mandatory early departure is ordered, both solely by decosion of the competent authorities, only the following services will be refunded:
- Extra options purchased as an extra (not included in the tour package)
The following servoces are not refundable:
- Extra options already included in the package, as they do not represent any additional costs but are already included in the package price.
- Tours to other areas included in the package, as they do not represent any additional costs but are already included in the package price.
- Tours not carried out due to the client’s decision, even though they were authorized and considered safe by the competent authorities.
TOUR CHANGES:
- The tour date can be changed, up to 72 hours before departure by contacting our office.
- Rescheduling is possible on availability and may involve modification fees, depending on the costs of the tour originally booked.
CURRENCY CONVERSIONS & REFUND PROCESSING TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:
- If your payment involved a currency convresion, the exchange rate at the time of the refund may differ from that of the initial payment. The refunded amount may therefore vary slightly.
- During the refund process, bank or card transaction fees may be deducted.
- Once processed, refunds are tipically completed within 5 business days, although some transactions may take ip to 30 days, depending on your bank or card provider.
